Pic Request - 172 Exhaust Back Box....

Just been looking under my car and the hanging bolt and rubber bush thats supports the standard back box, to me seems to have perished beyond belief! The reason i did this was when i was four up with a boot full, i was getting noticebly more exhuast noise, from seeing what ive seen today i think the metal holding point was sitting on the metal holding bracket with barely no rubber bush - giving me more vibration noise.

If anyone has or could take a pic of the said hanging point, much appreciated!

You need a new mount from Renault. It comes as a whole, with the metal bracket and just bolts on. While your at it change the centre exhaust mount too.(not my pic but this is what it shouldnt look like).

Rear bracket 7700424339 £17.35 plus vat
Centre mount 7700424341 £6.50 plus vat

Ordered the parts from the stealers now, absolutley spot on with the part numbers, but the prices must vary between dealers!!

Rear - £18.23 + VAT (£21.42)
Centre - £5.85 + VAT (£6.87)

Just changed these 2 mounts at last friday. Easy peasy job but, remember to support the exhaust before replacing each mount especially the back box one.
