Pic Request ?? 172 wheels??

Hi

I was wondering if anybody on here had a mark 2 phase 1 non-sport sitting on standard ph2 172 wheels. I am looking to get a set and wondering how they would look on my car. If somebody has them on a black clio grande then that would be like a dream come true lol

no, its only had a 40mm drop, the front looks high cos of the lack of weight from a 1.2 engine

Yea i want the alloys Blooor has but i need to get rid of mine first.
I am trying to source the metal clip i need for the foglights and the dual optics are going to get fitted on sunday when i have some time, what sort of wire do i need for them ?

Which metal clip is it? I've got the rear part of a fog lamp in the garage from when I replaced a cracked one, dunno if it's any good for you though.

+1 on the wire, be fitting a set myself soon. Read Dave's guide, but he doesn't mention if it has to be anything in particular.

its the metal clip part that you slot on the bumper, it has a hole through it and you screw the folight screw into it. My car does not come with foglights standard so i am trying to source 4 of these clips and nobody seems to have any

Hmm doesn't sound like anything I'll have either tbh. I'd get yourself to a scrapyard if you can, they'll probably let you have a few for pennies.

i sturggled as mine didnt come with the clips either i had some automotive electrical wire at my dads workshop, so something like that.

went to my local renault garage to ask if theyd get me some and they said that they didnt know what they were..... even though i had showed them on a car that had them!! my local garage is pretty poor though.

Yeah mine are fine, as they're standard on the car. Mine's actually decent spec apart from the fact that they left sports headlights off a sports-spec car lol.

I was just thinking of spare parts I might have for you.. I only have the lamp itself though, no attachments. Not really sure what to suggest for you both.. perhaps just keep an eye out for people breaking ph1s on here I guess!

my mate had the same car and i found that wierd:S you get "bucket" seats, fog lights etc.... but no sports lights.
