On a more serious note... there is loads of mk1s on here that have been lowered! they look neat!

lowered 60mm on gmax or pi springs with 15" alloys no rubbing at all watch out for potholes it can rattle your bones a bit i wouldnt recommened it.

Lowered on Gaz Adjustable Shocks with Ventura Springs

Front lowered on 35mm 16v Clio Springs (which means 55mm for the RSi)

Rear lowered about 40mm (via torsion bar)

Gaz shocks cost me £150, springs where £40 so £190 in total

Lowered on on Spax shocks and springs... Front -35mm, and the rear around -40mm ish

The kit was £210 inc postage if i remember correctly

( i am sure my front end always looks like its sticking its nose up LOL)
