Picking up 197 F1 Team R27 this week

My girlfriend and I went to look at one of these at the weekend and ended up buying the one in the show room - black with full decals - looks awesome.

We are trading in her 182 with Cup packs and I think the new car is a step forward in terms of practicality and day to day driving - but obviously not as quick - but I think the driving enjoyment will be just as good, if not better.

Will definately get it on track at some point too - give me a rest from my Time Attack Impreza

I'll post some pics when we get it - hopefully tomorrow

Definitely a more practical car to be honest, if you and the missus are gonna be sharing it as a main car then you get the best of both worlds really.

Fairly practical but fun with it.

recaros are standard on the r27

Sure i read on RenaultSport that they were an option at additional cost!!!

On the R27 they're standard, on the vanilla 197 they're optional.

It does have the recaro's as standard, and the full decals including the roof.

And it was the one inside Hemmings in Chi - just had to have it when we saw it last Saturday
