picking up new car, insurance?

hey

hopefully i am picking up my new car on wednesday, its a 2002 1.2 dynamique. I have to drive the car home (roughly 30miles), but i am not insuring the car yet, so how would i go about getting it home, should i risk it?

you need to insure it to drive it anywhere.

maybe its covered as 3rd party on your current insurance?

well im only 17 so that day insurance wouldnt work for me?!

might have to get a family member to pick it up?

yeah mate, im doing that, but if your mum say is fully comprehensive then it might cover her to drive that car if is a smaller or similar sized engine, i could be totall wrong tho.
