Well, firstly Gaz85 and myself would like to thank everyone who came along and made it a great way to spend a few hours in the freezing cold, we thoroughly enjoyed it and hope you all did too. Even if we're now seriously knackered and sore!

I'd also like to thank the BeTapp'd boys for coming along, supporting their fellow BT founder and taking plenty of pics which have been shared on the ClioSport Scotland FB page and are getting used here as well. Just as well really, my point and shoot is horrific!

So firstly, the overall results after 3 20 lap races.

1. Ally Logan (AllyL)
2. Scott Thomson
3. Gary Taylor (Gaz85)
4. Alistair Robertson (Ali)
5. James McGregor (jbm172)
6. Darren Watson (Eurospark)
7. John Holligan (Me)
8. Billy McNee (Cant remember user name, sorry Billy!)
9. Gary Maher (.Gaz.)
10. Kevin Gallagher (gally)
11. Dave Joyce (Djw Dave)
12. Mathew Pike (thepike1984)
13. Mikey Foster (mikefoz)
14. Fraser Jamieson (Fraser.J.)
15. Alan Robson (Alan)
16. Iain Campbell (Big Iain)
17. Craig Dolan
18. Sam McLean (sorry cant remember your forum name either!)

And now for the pics, you might notice that only 3 of the cars are Clios, seems about right for a CS Scotland meet!

Aye the old power to weight f***s it royally!

Looked like a great day, we (you) should make this a twice annual affair!

We're discussing options just now, personally I'd love to do the outdoor track at Raceland. As much as monthly karting would be great, I wouldnt want to do it to the exclusion of folk who don't want to kart and wouldnt want people getting bored of it. Also, we need to squeeze in food meets, driving meets, photo meets, track day meets, Crail meets etc etc

60 f**king laps for £30. I'll happily go back there. Especially with us knowing the folk.

You can't beat that. Maybe try Newbridge in the summer.

Great time aswell. Maybe plan food for afterwards next time. Bit more chat.

Gaz is the definition of rubbin's racin'! Non contact right enough!

The only thing I wasn't enamoured about was track positioning. I started both heats towards the back as did a few others, Iain got bumped for 3 races iirc. We would never have made the B final.

Logan isn't invited to anymore karting meets!

Bi-monthly is a must! Bloody brilliant stuff. Had a great day and home in time it doesn't even take up the full day!

They need to mix it up better imo.

Aye, Gally, food is one of those things, adds expense and time on, as you say it was nice to get home with the rest of the day still to go. But yeah, next time we'll try to have something easy and cheap to go to. Save proper, booked, food meets as standalone events I think

Was a great day out and a very good first meet.

Hope to see the cs Scotland area go from strength to strength.

Why the f**k does Jaff have Daniel Craig's Mondeo?

Agreed mate about the food. Suppose if a few fancied going for a scran they could. The others could head off.

Definitely right about the karting positions. Gaz finished 2nd in his 2nd heat did he not?

Oh and i'm king of the mongos!!!!

Oh wait...

Not a problem guys thanks for turning up and making it a great day!

Great day guys, very well organised and good bonus on the extra laps!!

Dare i say it... I agree with Gaz! Im up for going next week never mind next month!

As I know the owner this would normally cost £45 and be 12 laps instead of 20 so we can easily get it arranged again.

Id love to do raceland at some point but it's travel and cost are higher. For xtreme they say 14 is really good numbers today could have been split into 3 Groups with the numbers which would have made the track less crowded but was kinda fun.

I actually laughed about there being 3 Clio's amongst all the members FLOL. Superb.

Epic eh!

8/9 is good. Any less and you'd have very little overtaking probably.

It's difficult to make up time sometimes, people are quite even.

Same dave John and gaz , and John no problem as long as its not a re-occurring offence lol ! Enjoyed my first meet and looking forward to the next one , hopefully I have my dent fixed not to far in the future , so we can get some group pics !!!

Me and John will bring the flamers along, then you can sit all smug at how much nicer your car is than ours. Even if you keep the dent. :rasp:

Looks a good meet, could be up for this next time.

You ever thought about raceland? - outside track maybe for summer time. Great fun.
