pioneer in 182

im thinking of buying a DEH-P77MP head unit and was told by the shop it could be hardwired to the stalk control from behind the display with a pioneer lead (dont want the infa red one) but when i have looked on the pioneer web site it does not list the clio to 2004

has anybody fitted a pioneer and hardwired it to the stalk?

does the stalk still control everything?

all i can say is when I had mine put in they said I could have it wired to the stalk and the Display. didnt have enough money to have it done at the time so dont know if it works but I know one think and thats that they couldnt wire the autochanger to the headunit as its alpine

i know alpine do a lead but i have a pioneer changer and just want to change the head unit for cost otherwise i would try sony or alpine
