Piper-X Induction Kit

on a random visit today to my local ripspeed store in staines there was amazingly a piper-x induction kit sittin on the shelf, so after snapping it up i raced home to put it on, that was a challenge in itself lol, ended up using duct tape in some places! lol anyway after it was all fitted i must say that i am rather disappointed by the sound it makes, i was thinkin i was gonna get a deep roar, i aint gotta proper cold auir feed running to it yet, but this shouldnt make much of a differnce should it? gonna get that sorted tomorrow so itll be interesting to see, what kinda sound has anyone else got? friend of mine had it on the clio 2 before the facelift on a 1.4 an it was LOUD as, any in-sight will be as always appreciated

cold air will make it sounder deeper, and improve ur performance.,Sort out the cold air feed and you will notice it, on me old car when it was a cold day it sounded louder and went quicker.

its not the induction kit that makes the noise its the throttle body!!it only sounds louder when u put an induction kit on because it has not got the big air box holding all the sound in,piper-x seem the best to me because its only sponge were as k&N are made out of cotton

so, if you took the TB off it would make no noise?!!~~

and its good cause its foam?????

cold air makes it sound deeper????!!!!

made some adjustments to my piper-x, aint a piper-x no more, well it is the adaptor plate but its gotta green filter on the end, sounds alout louder and has a lot more grunt, much better!
