pipercross panel filter (piece of poo)

hi all ,, i have gone through 2 pipercross panel filters in 3 weeks ,and both have come to the same death ( the foam surround has come away which it sits on in the box)
hopefully none of the foam has been drawn into the engine :dapprove: .
can anyone suggest a DECENT FILTER that aint gonna destroy itself ,,
i heard of other threads talking about ITG are these any better and where is the CHEAPEST TO BUY FROM

Yes ITG are the nuts imo and is what i use, it also seems to be the most popular filter on this forum

itg mate, i got mine from k-tec, not sure on price (money, pah), wicked filters, better than ik imo.

If I replace the 182 OE panel filter with this.. will i notice any difference at all? Interested to know is it worth it?

Will notice a slight difference, and more cold air to the engine.

Best airfilter to get imo.

MONEY ,,, spend it while ya got it ,,lol. ill give the itg a go then ,thanks for the link Gavfre. just got to wait to hear from pipercross now , as they have sent me 2 and they have both died ,, recon they think im killing them on purpose lol

I had exactly the same problem with one years ago. I sent it back to K-tec where I bought it from only to be told it had been pinched when installed. Which it hadn't. It was obvious that it had perished all the way round. They said they'd send it back to Pipercross and get back to me, that was in 2003. lol

I've had a couple of ITGs since then and they've both been fine.

think ive had a result ,,,got a call today fom the place i bought it from ,they are refunding my money £32.99 and ordering me a k n N at no additional cost and they are about £49 so well pleased
