Ordered an Xbox360 through them (Premium Pack + GOW for £269.99) and they have delayed the order because of a security check. Called them about it (as they sent me an email asking me to) and apparently it could take upto 48 hours to clear!!
I was hoping to have it at the weekend... looks like early next week now

Anyone else ordered from them and had a security check? And if so how long did it take to clear?

the GOW + premium boxset was available in my local pcworld last sunday as my mate bought it so i can't see why its not available yet through play? maybe jsut at that price its not available?

IIRC 360 prem+gow+pgr3+wireless controler for £300.
Give em another £20 and you can have another game from a selection.
I nearly got 1 last week.

got a 40" sony bravia coming 2moro, ordered from amazon, on the 22ND OF OCTOBER!!! That's right it's taken over a month for delivery!! Shocker, will never use them again!

I am getting a bit hacked off with Play.com. They still haven't finished the security check and it sounds like the offer from GAME is a lot better. Is that an in-store offer?

Cancel the order from them jokers and get yourself into Game, you can play it tonight then and TBH the in store game offers are the best around IMO

And the one's at Virgin.

Going to call and cancel in a few mins and then pop into Reading tonight after work (late night shopping).
I really want a Premium pack and GOW, anything else is a bonus!

Not sure if the Virgin megastore is still open but there is also a Toys r us nearby as well. I really need one by the weekend so will get one tonight

ive had the same thing from them before, its because youve spent so much in one go they are making sure you are the cardholder by verifying your card details with the delivery address and they contact your bank aswell.
dont worry about it it goes quite quickly

i ordered it with play, had the security check too, its'a ll done and mine is in packing stage, it's not being released till tomorrow anyway so doesn't really matter, you wouldn't have got it for the weekend...not sure how you came to the conclusion you would. best 360 offer on the web at the moment, if thats all you want. although i just spent another 50 on quick charge kit spare batter y and another controller!

Went to Game last night and bought one. Got GOW, Test Drive and Condemded (sp).
Paid a bit more than buying one online but I wanted it there and then. Nice girl who served me too, she wanted a hi-5 because I bought one haha!
