please help me my cup is quickly driving me mad.

was diagnosed with faulty lambda pre cat, so bought a new one, car runs a thousand times better, but the light is still on?!
tried disconnecting battery for 30mins but no the lights still on.
it is driving me mad and im too impatient to wait until next week to get the diagnosis on it a work .

any1 expierienced the same problem?:dapprove:

Might need resetting, mam's Leon had a similar issue and had to have it reset at a garage.

It'l go off after ~200 miles but will be stored in teh ecu

how come it takes 200 miles to go off, ud think it would go straight away with a new one operating within its parameters???

You could get an ecu fault reader off eBay, I got one for 20 quid and it allows me to read and clear codes. For 20 quid ts worth it so u can do it again as most garages charge 40 quid
