Please help me !!

Hi Everyone,

I'm new to this site and I'm desperate for some help ..

I recently had my timing belt go and a so called friend of a friend has been trying to fix things for me for a few weeks now on the cheap.

to cut a long and upsetting story short i had to have 15 of my 16 valves replaced and the guy has finally come to put it all back together and he's now saying that all 4 of my injectors are broken and i need to get 4 more for £400 because the car wont start !!

He says the Fuel rail is receiving fuel but the injectors dont work !! they obviously all worked fine before the timing belt went so i don't know if he's scamming me!!!! :dapprove:


Does anyone think this is the case ? or has anyone had a similar experience ?

I've got an X reg 1.4 16V clio

Sounds unusual for the fuel rail to fail with the cambelt problem..I'd get some second opinons on that one...Get in touch with Rentech, GDI or Yozzasport and they can probably help you out.

Don't know if rentech have a website , but i'm sure somebody on here will have some contact info . I suppose it all depends where in the country you are as well .
