Plug and play

How easy is it to fit a motorised headunit (pioneer avhp6500DVD) in a clio 172 MK2. Have to hide the little silver box that goes with is somewhere................any ideas????

doing it tonight

have had some expirence with normal headunits are theres motorised ones alot harder or is it just plug and play??

Hello mate.

Check the back of the glove box and see if there is a plastic plate that pulls out (there is in the 182) you can put the silver box in the glover box and hide the wires behind it using cable ties. Im just going out side to mess with mibe now gimme 30 mins ill be back with pics.

Here you go bud. Once that ie through there your need to secure it in the glove box. the cables feed out the back and are secured with cable ties.

Didnt have this option in the Mk1 172 so i Secured it all behind the glove box with cable ties. Never caused me any trouble.

i really also want to know if there is an adaptor for pioneer headunits to be linked to the clio hifi controls and dash disply??? i know the alipne ones do.

can some please confirm the above please.

Im working on the info for the stalk adaptor. I have a contact at a supplier who tells me they should be able to find me one. Looks like it will be about £40. Will keep you posted.

cool mate if you get an adaptor count me in 110%.................will be fitting it after my dinner :S
