polished engine bay

can anyone post any pics of the own DIY polished engne bays and let me know how easy it is to do and what parts where removed and how easy?

There is a place (you'll have to search on here for it) where you give them your bits & pay them, they then send you polished up items.

Or instead just to to a machine shop etc & get them done.

Trying to polish up the "Renault Sport" bit on top. That came up ok-ish...

Really want the inlet runners done, tried for 20 mins with some wire wool and gave up. Didn't even begin to look shiney... :(

Lets not talk about the injector cover...

u can get it done by impact metal polishers in nottingham for 65 quid

i did mine a few years ago by hand and it took 1hr to do each pipe with lots of blisters on the way lol

lol. yer i was thinking about a machine polish shop as i no a man that can do it. but i was wondering how easy it is to take it all apart and fit back togeather and weather it carries hazzards like taking the engine apart and so on.

It's not the removal of the bits, that bit is fine. It's time consuming to polish them yourself.
