polished wheels!!!

ive recently got some phase 1 valver wheels and have tried nearly all polishes out there but cant seem 2 get them polished.is there something i could use or try as ive fallen in love with the wheels but theyre just not shinny enough:dapprove: .http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8012029255&rd=1&sspagename=STRK:MEWA:IT&rd=1 thats what id like them like.can some1 help???

send them to a wheel refurber and get them to polish them using their air tools - much easier lol

Bit of wet and dry and some patience
Then polish it with some metal polish once you have worked your way through the grades of wet and dry.

mirror polishing alloy is all down to hard work, but you need to start with the right gear first, have a look at this link, thats the sort of stuff you need

for my best results i started using wet n dry, depending how good the start surface is, go from 240,400,800,1500,2000,4000 but you have to remember you need to get every scratch mark out as you go

all the polishes you have probably used (peek autosol ect) are all finishing compounds

if you want to use a refurb company most will just diamond turn them on a lathe which isn't great, and proper alloy polishing firms who do a proper job want 20-25 quid an hour, at anything between 2-6 hours per wheel

you can get good results doing it yourself, but its hard work
