Polishing Engine Renault Sport bit

WHat can I do to bring a shine to the top of my engine on my Cup, will a Dremel polisher thingy bob do the trick?

Such a lovely engine bay, but it looks all scummy and like no one cares about it, which I do, but I dont know what to do - if that makes sense!

Any ideas?

I think they used an air polisher, it will take u ages with a dremmel

Ive been thinking about doing this. Theres a metal polish you can buy thats in like a silver toothbrush type tube and its a paste that you rub on with a rag. It works really well. Ill see if I can get some today and Ill post a pic of it.

seen it done on vtss and gtis all the time. start of with a dremel then work your way down through the different stages of sand paper until you get to 2000 grit with some water.

Si172, Heres a picture of my engine after its been polished using an air polisher, a Dremel wont work and abit of autosol on a rag wont do a thing.

If you contact BenR and ask him he should be able to sort you out and polish your engine.

I polished the cam covers on my 106 GTi and it does look mint if you do a proper job...

Presume you have a sports zorst ? I know its been done to death but ....Has anyone got a more than marginal performance increase with a zorst/viper/r-sport ecu ?????
