Poorboys wheel sealant Vs Carbone Lorraine pads

  TrackCar & F30 330d
Will Poorboys wheel sealant protect my 182 wheels against Carbone Lorraine pads (RC5)?

I'm fed up of having shocking stopping power from my ebc green stuff pads. So if i put my CL trackday pads in then will they just eat my wheels? (I know they eat discs, and cant afford to buy new pads)

I'm currently doing, washing, AG SRP, 3 layers of AG EGP, then a few layers of Poorboys Wheel sealer.

Will it be enough?

Thanks :)

Hmmmm i'v just bought the poorboys stuff last night. But thanks anyway :)

Anyway isnt the poorboys stuff like a wax anyway?

Poorboys seems good to me, although it is tough to make sure you get it all off!... I know it protects from standard brake dust, but not so sure about your crazy pads?!...

Its better than nothing but you would be best getting a less abrasive pad such as the DS2500's and just using a normal durable wax imo

Ok good stuff. I received a little box today with my new mitt and the wheel sealant :) I'v just buffed off the AG sealant and just put my first layer of the wax.
How long it is best to leave it? Just untill it goes dry?
(The Wheels are in my house atm)

They worked fine on my brand new white wheels with the CL pads and brembo discs so should be ok on yours.

Although the only thing i haven't tried is leaving the dust to settle awhile along with the dust getting wet in the rain and then been baked on in the sun. That will be tought to remove as when i went to Le Mans last year with the williams wheels it ruined them. I didn't clean them for about 2 weeks after the trip and the stuff was impossible to remove.

Wouldn't recommend the CL pads for everyday use. Would be better getting something like the DS2500 pads as fad pointed out.
