Although I've probably used both a few times each in 12 months so I'll be OK

Mine isn't fuel and its been sound.
Granted the drill shat itself and got replaced by milwaukee with a brushless model. The impact driver has had loads of abuse though and still sound

If i was in the market again though I would 100% buy a fuel one though, hope that input helps with your purchase

Yeah I'd probably buy fuel if any of it breaks now but for all I use it for it does the job
