Power zapped by motor!!

  Fiesta ST
Well was queueing for the car wash yesterday and it was taking ages so decided to f**k about with my car, my aircon was playing up in the summer and i read that there is a sensor in the interior light, so i took it off and looked in, was happy to find a motor of some kind at the back disconnected, thought awesome thats it!!, plugged it in and it made a noise and i tried the aircon, no differnce, thought f**k it, and tried to start the car and nothin!! had to push it past the car wash like a knob and ask for a booster pack, ok now......any ideas?? cheers

what was wrong with the air con in the first place. as the compressor wont cut in without the engine running perhaps u just got a defective battery.

dunno, sometimes it would go cold and other times it wouldnt, then when it got colder and i tried to put the hot air on it wouldnt blow hot!! eventually started blowing hot. so i thought it may be down to this sensor.

if the sensor was unplugged then i think it only blows out cold air i think, as it goes to a default setting.
