Prescott Hillclimb -182

  106 GTi

My mate sent me the CD with the images of my 182 on the hillclimb track at Prescott near Cheltenham a few weeks ago. Was good fun, nice an twisty so suited the 182. Narrow and windy so mostly 2/3 gear all the way up. (Ist out the hairpin!)

It had 1150 miles on it at the time. I brought it back in March just dont use it enough!

Polished, sealed and waxed with to many products to be honest.

What was the event? I take it it wasnt a competitive event because of the lack of a crash helmet.

Never seen a car that clean. lol.

It was at the Peugeot Sport Official Owners Club national day. The have held there day there for the last few years. My membership was still active after years of owning Pugs, with free entry and the sun out and only 6 miles aways I couldnt resist but to pop up and do a few runs.

Yeah Jon it was non competitive and not timed hence no need for a helmet. Last year I took my old 1.9 up so it was a good comparison.

Cheers guys.

Blue- you know it makes sense!

Jonnyboy - I miss the old 205 but the 182 is as close as you can get in modern day hatch.

Wow great pics mate, nice to see a superbly detailed car in action rather than just sitting on a drive way (like mine)!

Thanks guys...I do miss the 205, but the 182 is the best modern day replacement.

Mark, I like to keep it clean, but you gotta use them! Mine spends to much time in the garage as it is (1071 miles since March   ) and not been driven for a couple off weeks now! Hopefully have some time tomorrow and off work next week which will help.
