Private/Aftermarket Number Plates

How are the original number plates attached to the car (05 182)? Are they glued on? Also how have people re-attached their plates, do you have to drill the boot and screw em in? Or is there another way?

Depends on the supplying dealer, double sided sticky pads, screws or even riveted on.

Mine where stuck on, when I changed them did the same, others on here have used velcro, which I wished I had done.

There is no visible screws/rivets so they must be double sided sticky then? Velcro is a good idea, cheers dude.

Sounds like they are stuck on, heat them up with a hairdryer and gently pull/ease off.

well around staines few people i knew had velcro, they had there plates knicked recently...
