Problem

[Struggler]

Engine seems like it's getting too hot,

it smells like burning under the bonnet (and coming through the vents)
the fan comes on and stays on after the engine is turned off.

the water temperature on the dash however stays at a normal level

both water level and oil level are between min and max


any suggestions?

blocked rad sounds likely. Needs furthur investigation though

if the rad was blocked,
would this mean the water would not be flowing around the engine?? surely that would cause the water temperature to sky rocket??

Maybe a rat crawled up your exhaust m8 lol, wouldnt worry bout it as long as it stays at normal temperature, check make sure theres no wires or anything touching the engine/manifold, and the fans hooked straight up to the battery and only turns off when the temp switch cools down.
