Problems removing my front bumper...

Tried to get the bumper off the other day and noticed that the bolts in the wheel-arches just keep spinning (the poxy clips that the bolts screw into appear to be broken!).

Am I being a dimwit and not seeing an obvious way to access them from the top or is the only option to find a way of jamming something in the tiny space to stop them moving?

Correct although i had to drill some out.

I binned the screws, and now use zip ties.

It's getting them out that bothers me - they'll spin when I try to drill them out too!

I butchered them off with a big pair of snips an used a nut, bolt an washer arangment now. There exposed to all the road grime so corrode fairly quickly

I got a pair of thin nosed pliers in there and managed to hold the clip.
