Problems with 182 already!

Am I right in saying I win the prize of having the first broken 182?

Driving down the motorway this morning at around 70 - 80mph and the power just stops. I can put my foot to the floor and theres no acceleration for around 8 seconds, and then it picks up again and is fine.

It done it last night too on the motorway but today its happened about 5 times. Will take it back to the dealer tomorrow but has anyone else had a similar problem? :confused:

sounds odd! you been using the speedlimiter/cruise?
 


just had my "fly by wire "replaced on my mk2 and i had similar trouble but mine would not rev properly over 4k,it must of been going for a while cos now she flies.

Price without warranty for this came to 7p short of £400.ouch

I dont think its the cruise/speed limiter. I have been using the cruise but none of them were switched on. I tried setting the speed limiter to 110 and it still cut the power at about 80 so I dont think its that. Im not too worried because of the warranty, its just annoying thats all.
 


Doesnt sound like its got anything to do with toys.

Sounds like its the throttle by wire or the pcm

I have just managed to pick myself up off the floor. What a truly funny man you are!!

The term toys was not a dig at your precious 182s, perhaps possessions is a better term to use.

Mind you some of you fellas on here are a little slow I guess
