Programming key fob

does anyone know how much it is going to be to get the spare key to my valver reprogrammed?

is a renault dealer the only place i can get it done?

Thats ridiculous! When some gits robbed my keys for my RT, it only cost me a tenner to get my spare clifford fob re-programmed.

That really does take the pi**!!!

theres a bloke at the local market who decodes stereos, mobile phones etc for a tenner. will see if he can do keyfobs or knows anyone who can.

Ive just had a new key from renault for my 4week old 172 because i lost it

They charged me 25+vat for labour (programming) and the rest was the cost of the key. Total cost was £70 inc VAT

you can get a key from ebay and pay an hours labour to have it coded

ive got the key, just need it coding. £25 doesnt sound too bad.

will go in Monday and see what they say.

can they do it there and then or does it take longer?

youll have to book it in but you may be able to wait while they do it though!

The book time for a key coding is 0.4hr the place I work for charge 57 + vat so it will cost you 26.79 all in at my place.
