Project Clio Complete!! (56k will die on its @rse!)

Well my car will soon be going back to standard, interior comes out on Sunday so yesterday decided to get some quick snaps of it at its peak! Still loads I'd love to do it but financially it makes bugger all sense!! Owned it for 3 and a half years and done 60000 mostly trouble free miles. Will miss it when its gone!!

Anyway, this thread is gonnna be like a reverse progress thread, watch it get more and more standard!!

And some with my gf's mk1. Soon to have 15" OZ F1 Cups and a 40mm drop

Would ahve liked to have given mine a full proper clean but that can wait till its not 30 degrees and the paintwork is too hot to touch!!

All suggestions of cars around the 2-3k mark appreciated!

No that sright but I bet teh handle to put tehm forwards to let folk in the back is higher up! What you;ve circled is the lever that lets people in teh back! Its a ph1 172 interior!

how are you with insurance? could prob pick up a mint williams, 106 GTI, Saxo VTS for 3k, may even be able to get a high milage mk1 172

Middo, my driving history is erm colourful About £700 on a vts (23 3years ncb)

Would love a mk1 172 but we'll see. I think a valver plus commute car is more likely than a willy, but vts are so cheap its tempting to get one for a wee while despite the image!

pity you have to take it back to standard John, very nicely subtly modded.

If it was down to me, id be on the hunt for a valver and leave some spare for some nice mods on that.

Or a mint 106 GTi - they are lush also

Back after an absolute nightmare shift! On both cars the rear bolts holding the rear seats were solid as a rock and would not move, had to drill them out which took about 4 days!!

Should've known the day was gonna go badly when this happened

So got a new one on my way to Jonaldhinos and thougt it would be fine, ah well!! You live, you learn, you swear a lot an dvow never to take out the back seats on a clio again! EVER!!
