Project De-Chav! (pic heavy) strikes again!!

  Ph1 track 172
as im sure you remember i did some dechaving on the front on my ph1,

from this!

To this!

well ive finally got my arse in gear and done the rear of the car,

before!

ths is not at the height of the chavness, also had a flushed boot, and the bumperplate suck on the bumper, but no pics off hand,

standard boot back on,
Ph2 rear lights,
Tints removed,
Sickers removed,
peco exhaust,
ph2 172 rear bumper later!!

she looks like so
painting will be on the to do list when i get the money :(

had to be done ;)

plans from here, get some nice subtle cliosport like sideskirts,
megane splitter,
and some nicers wheels,

all opinions welcome

  Lupo GTI
Looks like its coming on well.
What wheels you after?
PH1 duals are a must, thought about a 172 PH1 front bumper?

  Ph1 track 172
tbh, i dont really want to do a full rep,
but once you add up wings, bumper skirts and painting,
it gets rather costly,

i quite like the look of it just colourcoded properly,

also, want to find some ph2 172 wheels at a scrummy price,
or dynamic wheels on lower profile tyres

  Petrol Blue 182.
look for other clio fitment wheels mate too, turbines can be picked up for less then £100 quid and look brilliant on a ph1 clio dude (if i do say so my self) ;), also i think mk1 valver wheels (if there the wheels im thinking off) look good too! go for something diffrent, gna look good when done tho mate

  renault clio 1.4 si 2000
some ph2 strips look the danglies for very little spendies, plus then you get to be in on all the bullet/diamond colouring action that goes on!! check the bay for wheels, seen a few sets for sub 200 recently.

i did think your white turbines looked rather nice,
im quite open about my wheel choises atm,
just want rid of the 17's really,

also, i would like some strips,
but what bullet would i have??
do they make a 1.2 bullet??

ok so my new to do list stands at, in no order,

door stips,
dual optics,
wheels,
interior,
painting,
sideskirts,

dont think i want the hastle of changing bumpers just yet,
perhaps when money picks up again ill look into it,

sounds like a plan, only thing on that list thats isnt quite rite is side skirts, only side skirts that look good are the 172 ones, but you have to have wings to make them fit and look good, and then you have to have the bumper to make the wings look good lol! i think they do do a 1.2 badge but there not that common iirc, they do a 16v bullet, althougth your cars 8v? i had 16v bullets on mine and just sprayed them black, but after a few weeks i sanded them down and now have smooth bullets wich look good, theres a set of turbines on ebay atm, £109 the bids on for a set of 4

  Petrol Blue 182.
you'll need the quater pannel strips too mate, i picked mine up from a scrappy £10 for the whole set, had a few gouges (sp) in them from where the car had been in a crash, but as i wanted them smooth i just rubbed them down, just a few coats of primer and some BMW Jet Black paint from halfords, then laquer, job done and those side skirts look alright tbh, quite subtle.

what year is your car mate? as there may b a problem fitting your door stips

i might have a word with some local scrappys,

most of the ones near me are so over priced tho,
will try and find some in the right colour,

and i like the side skirts,
very subtle,
and they look the same as the 172 skirts, out without the cut out at the front.

Looking good mate. deffo some ph1 sport lights will be great, what did you do with the other parts? sell them or bin them?

  Ph1 track 172
theyre sat in the garage atm,
will try and get some pics and get them up for sale to help fund some more mods at some point

have a ph1 bumper,
broken angel eyes,
flushed boot that could use attention,
and the remus exhaust,

Ahh cool was gona say, Might be interested in the boot dependin on condition and price etc... as im broke lol

  Ph1 track 172
probably about 40 collected as it needs abit of attention,

still got the glass and boot pop mechanism,

in primer also

  Petrol Blue 182.
door strips, on a mk2ph1 before X reg the holes in the door and quater pannel are diffrent, making the ph2 side strips not fit unless you modyfy them which is what u had to do, had to cut fresh holes in my door lol

  Ph1 track 172
i actually quite like those wheels lol, thought about having them painted a different colour?

yes,very seriously,

was going to paint them anthracite, or black,
its the size i dont really like about them,
make the car look likes its on stilts!

  Mk6 Fiesta Zs
just noticed this. car looks a millionnnn times better bud. dual optics on the front and your laughin tbh. good work!

  2000 1.4
what did you get rid of the angel eyes for? they were stunnin! also, I quite liked the look of the "chavved" back end, well apart from those horrid exhausts lol

  Ph1 track 172
because i wouldnt have got the paint off them, also they were so poorly made,

i ended up hating the old back end, the way the numberplate sat on the bumper when it had a flushed boot just didnt look right,

and the back lights got me faaar to much unwanted attention.

should be another update by the weekend,
have some sport replica side skirts waiting to be painted too
