Right,
have a few days off work,
so ive decieded after going to my first cliosport meet,
that i officially drive a chav mobile,

so something must be done, as times and tastes change,
ive decieded to de-chav my ph1, and so the project de-chav begins!!!

i know most people on CS arnt fans of non RS ph1s, but still, its all i need/can insure atm.

pic of the old!

so off on my crusade into my state of a garage,
these babies were pulled out of retirement until i find a nice set of dual optics

so off came the sunstrip, tints, stickers, headlights, bumper, bonnet raisers

bumper got masked and primed

Got some fogs very cheap, so they got primed too

painted, and put back together

put them in the bumper, just too see the finnished effect,
think it works well

got ride of the texture by useing high build primer, and wet sand paper,

after a couple of coats of paint

bumpers being left to dry over night,
car as it stands looks like so

hope you enjoyed the read,
any opinions are welcome
she will live again!!

Are you leaving the canons on the back dude?

hahahaha

hahah oit,
no thats coming off,
got a 172 bumper on its way, try and get a nice subtle exhaust to go with that,

as for the bonnet raisers,
for some idiotic reason, i didnt adjust the strut brace properly, so it sat up higher than the bonnet, and it didnt close properly,
bonnet raisers were a complicated solution to a simple problem really :approve:

This thread is only the front of the chav mobile,
the rear will be coming shortly,
stay tuned on

Standardize my ride

Can I just ask what the point in the 'bonnet raisers' was?

They are fitted to some cars to keep engine bay temps down. Normally on turbocharged cars.

On that Clio?

Useless, and it even looks crap, to boot. Off!

Bin the tower brace and get the OE bonnet arms back on.

wait there, you painted your angel eyes to make it loo like a bad boy bonnet?

Bad Boy Bonnet FTW TBH, Makes the phase 1 look more aggressive:

My Old one looked quite good i think, (flame suit is on):

Good work mate, nice start :)

In other news Crazy_Clios car looks properly done, not to my style anymore but would have been about 5 years ago.

Project de-chav has finnished on the front of the car,
next point of attack is the rear!!!

Before!

And after!
Still looking at different splitters to put on,
and need to get a set of dual optics when the money looks abit better

^^ as you can see it needs a splitter

All opinions are welcome
