Prospeed or Hayward and Scott 182 exhaust?

  K20 EG Hatch
I want to get a custom exhaust for my car and these two seem to be the best of the bunch by everyone on here?

This is the perfect one i want! Anyone advise on cost and where from? I would be wanting a decat too.

Thanks

Its not decatted know, i would imagine it would be VERY loud if it was..

i bought mine 2nd hand... erm, i think there 4/500? - Probably best to give them a call and ask

The pic you have at the top is a slash cut/rolled exhaust

A bit more expensive and very similar in style to the one shown at the top, but just check out the build quality!!! We're currently finalising the prices so keep your eyes peeled.

looks very good but i want rolled tailpipes and i bet that is gonna cost a small fortune? any idea roughly how much it will be fitted?

  Integra Type R & 205 Mi16
Because our exhausts our made to order we can probably get rolled tips done for you with out too much trouble. We're hoping the price will come in at £850 (don't hold me to this tho) which although expensive, it is awesome value, we're still in negotiations on the price though, so it could be lower and fitting will be included at whatever price (not sure if it will include a new fitting kit yet though as i need to discuss this with Mat).

Mat and myself did a trial run fitting it the other day for the first time and it took the pair of us a mere 15-20 mins to fit it, excluding removal of the old system obviously. So it should be an easy diy job.

That looks sweet, how loud is it? I'm thining of getting an aftermarket exhaust but don't want it too loud.

  is non-existent
i wouldve said h&s but seeing that prospeed one now that is f**king sweet as, both just as good as each other but some of the later 182 H&S(bar bubbles) exhausts had a few teething problems but got it sorted.
just i wouldnt rely to much on what people say about their reputation imo

Is that whole back section just held on with that one bracket? - does that bar on the left offer more support?

Does it wobble?

But really i think this is just like the whole 'which tyres are better' arguement

at the end of the day you stick to what you know and its down to personal preference..

We can argue this all day ;)

Ive had quite a few problems with my prospeed now - was way too loud at the start - went back and had different rear can fitted. Tailpipe moves quite a lot - has melted 3 plastic trims - that is sorted now - doesnt move sideways anymore. Was blowing last week - Charlie found a crack in the welding around the middle silencer and he must have adjusted something at the time coz now the tailpipe sits way too low so am gonna have to go back again. Plus as Bubbles said you can see alot more of the rear silencer with a prospeed so maybe H&S might be worth it - although If you want a 182 exhaust like the one above you wont see the silencer at all - loads to think about - give charlie a ring he will give you some good advice

I enquired yesterday about a H & S cat back system and they said £425 excluding delivery and VAT. Custom made as well but half the price of Shed Motorsports.

  Integra Type R & 205 Mi16
Our price is inclusive of vat and the price you pay is for the development time that has gone into it and quality of workmanship, the price isn't what it is just for the sake of it. No one can argue that there is a better made exhaust available.
