pulling power...172 cup

Having got rid of my integra dc2 a few months ago for a house ive finally got some money together to buy a car again.....ive decided on a 172 cup....my question is, does the 172 cup have more torque than my dc2? As i know honda's are poor in this area.

The Cup has a max of 200NM of torque IIRC.

It was either a JDM DC-2 for me or a 172cup a month ago, I went for the 172cup, not that I and saying that one is better tha nthe other, it was just down to personal preferance

If the DC2 has less than 200NM then yes.

Cup is approx 147 ft/lb and a DC2 is about 130 ft/lb.

The 1*2 engine is actually quite 'grunty' for a 2.0 NA four pot imho.

178 Nm for the DC2 and 200 Nm for the Cup

apart from the fact that a Cup has more on paper torque, the Honda's doesn't peak until something daft like 7.3k dead: ) whereas i think it's around 5.5k in the Renault
