Put my 182 on the rolling road today

We were a bit lazy this afternoon and had that friday feeling so decided to put my clio on the rollers for a laugh. It was actually better than I expected, I was thinking anywhere from 165 to 180hp might be a good result.

Did a couple of runs just to be sure, both within a hp of each other.

Interesting, compared to a standard honda K20 its miles better everywhere but the last 1000rpm.

Although its quite a way off one of my 2.2l N/A k20's i've built...

It sounds quite muppetty in the flesh, but most of the noise is drowned out by the fans in the rollers here...

As far as I know its fairly standard, its got a ktec induction kit and cat back system and the 98 ron map. I've only had it a couple of weeks so the previous owner might fill you in on any details i've missed if he spots this!

They're actually quite the opposite, we know it as the chamber of disappointment as most people go away with way less that they expected, so this is a great result.

Looking at the torque graph I would say it has some lumpier cams inside

Hi Dan, as you've said, that's all that's been done to it performance wise really, no cams unless a previous owner had them fitted but not to my knowledge. Those figures are pretty impressive compared to other clios.

Could potentially have matched inlets too which could give a few extra if it's been mapped to suit.
