putting code back into origanal headunit still wont work ?

just took orginal head unit out of mt cup to instal new head unit but the new head unit is fcuked , so until i can get it replaced ive gone to put standard head unit in put back in code pushed button 5 as says in book and still not working

its all the bits and bobs that can with car when bought it . renault bits etc . its only misses needs tunes in there til i can exchange my new head unit .

pressed and held number 5 until it bleeped . but last didget still flashes it doesnt say error or anything

can you input the code on your stalk controls on your model,might work that way

the misses was doing that whilst i was out , il have ago when she gets back in unless she has been and bought another head unit

I always use the stalk controls, should be pretty easy.

Like peperami says . Use the stalk , thumbwheel to change the numbers then press the validation button under the stalk until it beeps , then it's set .

You have to use the stalk if its fitted iirc, for some reason the buttons on the HU won't work.
