Question on PS3 (Main Screen)

On the Music/Video/Photo section on the main screen there's a Windows Media Player icon under each section with the names of family members as description. I have no idea where this has come from. I spoke to my nephew who has been in the house today and he hasn't been on my PS3/WMP and so on.

Any help will be appreciated

You can access your photos, videos and music.

This is the in-built media server within win 7 that shares over the same LAN.

I'm guessing you may updated your PS3 firmware or purchased a new router this happened to me to.

To disable it I'm sure you can stop this from either end.

i've got a new PS3 since last week, so did the relevant updates. same router for over a year. I've noticed that my nephew was using his laptop downstairs and asked him to turn it off and the icons on my SP3 main screen were gone.

How can i get this to stop? when i press triangle on the icon all i'm getting is Information

yh when im using my laptop and my sis is using her's there are icons saying i can browse them if i put the password in lol but never been on them, and they disappear when you turn the computer off
