Quick Help Please!

Am taking the front seats in my Mk2 clios out atm

Which fuse deactivates the seatbelt pretensioners? or can I just unhook the battery?

Best just to unhook the battery and leave it for 5 minutes before disconnecting them, just to be on the safe side.

ok, thata what ill do, although I dont seem to be able to disconnect the positve, i take it that doesnt matter?

Another quick question: I get a funny smell through the air con system when ever im in the car, even when the air co is off?

Any idea what it is? Could it be the pollen filter and if so gow do i know if Ive git a pollen filter and how do i get to it if i have?

Just disconnect the negative only and its fine.

Sorry cant help with the air con but it sounds like the filter to me.
