Quote me happy!!!

Just got a cracking quote from Norwich Union Direct, £572 with £670 excess! This includes my mum as named driver and best of all I get covered to drive other peoples cars 3rd party. Not bad considering I was paying £1500 last year!!!

I tried Endsleigh, Renault, Tesco, Direct Line, Privlege and Bell Direct. Couldnt get through to HIC before anyone asks, 20 minutes n hold is a bad sign for future customer service in my eyes.

I told them to f**k off because they wanted more than £200 extra than directline, I was with norwich union direct for 3 years. The guy on the end of the phone said there was obviously no point in going to norwich union!

Had they had been anywhere near the directline quote Id have stayed with them because theyre actually pretty good, but not worth £200 or so extra.

Yeah bit steep so itll be extra careful driving! I chose to have it that high just to bring the cost down. With most companies it pushed the premium up by putting my mum on it. Aslo any company I did an internet quote and a phone quote it was always the phone one which was cheaper except Tesco (who I was with last year)

most insurance companies are charging a high excess. Mine is £500 and unlucky for me I did have a crash.
