just seeking some help here

i dont know if my rad fan is working on my 172 since i converted it as i've never heard it working!
and it doesnt seem to like standing in traffic for ages, now from the loom there is one wire connecting into the top of the fan and one of the right but there is a small connector that isnt hooked upto anything has like 3 holes in it quite a small connection under half the size of the other 2

any help would be great

oh i'v put silver paint on one the fan blades to see if it moves but obviosly it may move when i'm driving anyway

it sits at half way most of the time the odd time it seems like it goes a minute fraction above but back down, i left it running this morning after i'd been out to the bank and it never kicked in after about 5 mins of running,

you've done an engine swap?

The fan is triggered by the ecu and the temp sender provides the ecu, dash and rad fan with temp info.

If the ABS isnt plugged in you might have a probelms as the computer uses the speed to work out at what temperature the coling fan cut in at there 2 settings.
