Radio Code not working :/

Hello All

I've just gone here :

I put my radio number in :


8200269038TV329 and got this info :


Your Serial / Security number is: "V329".
Your unlock code is "4649"


I've entered 4649 into the player but didn't work. Any ideas?

Worked!!

Sam told me to do this :

"Hi Tom.

You have to press this button after you have entered your code:


Switch Radio On - Display Shows " 0000 " with the 1st digit flashing
Rotate " Thumbwheel " For Correct Digit
Press " ¬ " On The Stalk Control To Enter
Rotate " Thumbwheel " For Correct Digit
Press " ¬ " On The Stalk Control To Enter
Rotate " Thumbwheel " For Correct Digit
Press " ¬ " On The Stalk Control To Enter
Rotate " Thumbwheel " For Correct Digit
If the correct Clio radiocode number is now shown
Press And Hold " ¬ " Until A Beep Is Heard.

Sorry to bump - but I get the beep but the code doesn't go away and the radio still wont work...

Am I being a silly wasp?

Yes...

Tried multiple times, turned it on and off etc but still no luck.

Ill give it another try when I leave the office just incase I was being a complete spacktard.

Think you type in the code and then hold the 6 button(?) to register it

It's all explained in Bonxy's post above. It's done using the stalk - make sure you're holding the button down when the code is entered for a few seconds until it comes on.

Ah right. Well on my MK2, nothing happens when you push the buttons on the radio when entering the code.

Hmm that is odd. On my '54 182 the number one button does the first digit, number two the second and so forth.

We sometimes get people who have problems when using the stalk, try the numbers on the front after you have unplugged & left for about 10 mins - you may have a radio with a cloned chip inside it which is why the codes are not working, as the sticker on the side of the radio doesn't relate to the chip inside it anymore!
