Rallye Sunseeker Pics (56k)

Rallye Sunseeker happens every year in Bournemouth and the surrounding forests. First stage is always held through Bournemouth Gardens, so here are a few pics...

expect more tomorrow from the forest stages. Also if anyone else went, dump your photo's in here too

Please excuse the poor quality... light was very low and it was bloody FREEZING! I eventually started playing with Shutter Speeds to let in more light, and to create the cool effects

These below had a 2 or 3 second shutter speed (i need a tripod!)

Wow what a day, up at 6am, arrived in Wareham at 8am, got a good position for the first stage, then rushed around like a loon until 3:30pm getting to different forests etc. Intended to stay till the end but I was exhausted, muddy and in need of a good rest before the airfield tomorrow. Amusing being followed by rally prepared Impreza's and 206s etc on the dual carriageway between stages!

^^^^ oh and yes I did get hit by a flying rock from Scooby Number 2 (about half a second after I took that pic), bloody hurt! The culprit is probably in the pic hurtling towards me!

We had a great time out in the Dorset forests today as well, the Wareham stage was just a little too far west for us today and would of meant missing the spectator stages through White Sheet and Somerly Park.

I think my £99 3yr old Canon A60 is ready for the bin

We were just down at the next corner, heard the roar of the Escort then silence for 10 minutes till the stage was reopened LOL

I seem to recall the comentator on Friday night talking about the car being late to arrive for the Event because it was having new brakes fitted...
