Rattling on full lock at carparking speed

When on full lock at low speed and power steering working hard im getting a loud 'rattle' belt side. The aux kit ( pulleys and tensioners ) was replaced just over a year ago ( <10K miles ). Is it possible the power steering pump making this noise ? Finding it hard to pinpoint...

full lock in both directions? get a mate to hold full lock and see if you can place it?

Also does it when it is stationery. When i first heard it i was expecting to see the aux tensioner about to fly off but it was doing its job correctly. Its definitely belt related. Have to get inside it i think ....

ah i see, thats clearer. Sounds like it may be PAS pump. Is there any sign of fluid leakage?

no fluid leak. do they break up internally or something ?

I've seen the bearings collapse a few times. I'm pointing at the PAS pump as you say it happens on full lock though. It may still be the lower aux idler. It need all looking at properly

When the crank pulley decided to separate !!!!!

Check your crank pulley.......
