i went to part ex my clio yesterday, but unfortunately they only offered me £4,700 for mine, i then took it to another place and they offered me £4,900.

its not by any means in bad condition, a few stone chips etc etc, but nothing you wouldnt really expect from a 4 year old car. so obviously this is the book price of the car. it seems a shame really as they are really good cars as we all know with alot of kit as standard.

anyone else had an experience like this??? the car will be going whatever as ill just write it off against tax through the company but would be nice if dealers/car shops etc though the cars were worth a bit more.

o and if any one did want to offer like £5,000 or something then they can have it as i'd rather someone who actually appreciates cars gets it apposed to a dealer who will just turn a profit.

look forward to hearing if i have been conned into thinking my car is worth less thn it is.

sounds about right....import, high milage and one of the 1st... Bear in mind 55plates are going for 7 and a bit...

Its not a bad price really, I always expect the worst from dealers. Recently though i got £1500 for my GTi6 R reg with 87k on and PartSH

i chopped my black gold 182, 04, cup pack, 48k on the clock full service history and got 6k from a renaultsport specialist in exchange for a 13k 197. This was under 2 weeks ago.

a lot of it depends on what you are looking to buy. I see you are in Milton Keynes, dependent on how desparate you are to flog it i can put you in touch with a specialist in Littlehampton who may be interested, he'll need to see it though.

very good price - and i got a 197 in ultra red, 57 plate november 2007, 2.5k miles on the clock, xenons, climate and MP3 enhanced stereo for 13k (over 17k list)- so it pays to shop around!

Dont take it to camden renault in wolverton mate, ive always had massive trouble with them and s**t trade in. I managed to squeez £7200 for my 54 plate 182 wid 29k on the clock last november, west sussex motors are good, they are about an hour and a half away from us.
