Alrite lads, need some expert advice here. ;)

Firstly I was going to buy a complete new system but then I came across that thread. Money is a slight issue at the mo hence looking towards this cheaper option.

I currently have it 'bodged' up with some clips/sealent/gun gum etc

Question is, does my Exhaust 'qualify' for this mod?? and secondly who can do it in the North West (Manchester) not Danmar though after reading what jesus went through!!

Advice much appreciated.

Cheers fellas

The cat mod applies to the cat and yours looks fine so no problem getting the end cut off and a bigger 2.5" pipe welded on.
Your centre box is fubar though. I'd get the box cut out and a 2.5" straight through pipe fitted. That way you can have the output of the cat modified to match the rest of the exhaust system.

Not sure where you could get in done in Manchester though but there must be a half decent LongLife or Powerflow guy up there.

JP Exhausts or Top Gear exhausts in Stockport are the best around here (apparently). That centre section looks knackered to me though!

Yep. Cat welded to a straight centre pipe. Centre pipe into rear boxes. Let us know how it sounds! Always been intrigued as to what a standard centre pipe delete sounds like.

Cheers fellas for that.

I could do without paying out a wedge on a complete new un due to funds being a bit on the low side, I'll take it to JP Exhausts or Top Gear to have a look.

Ta.
