  clio 2.0 182 & z3m coupe
hi there people i currently have a non cup packed 182, its a company car so my boss had no idea what he was buying, and im desperately wanting the cup suspension, is there anyway that i can buy it from renault (or any where that you no of that will sell it) or should i just w8 for some to come up second hand? i would prefer to stay away from the after market suspension as insurance issues etc.

any advice would be appreciated people

It really would be cheaper and easier and probably all round better to get after market suspension if you could.

ye i was thinking that, just concerned about the insurance as its company car insurance so doubt if they will allow mods. cos im guessing if i was to have a smash (touch wood i dont) suspension would be a pain to remove quickly? and put the old stuff back on?

Personally I'd never recommended not declaring it :)

I think I would go for just replacement springs with eibachs if the shocks are low mileage.

They are a mild drop, but should improve the drive and be better then the cup springs. Wether you both declaring springs if up to you, I probably would if it was a small drop like 15mm.

I would do as butler said and put some stiffer springs on, I have some Eibach springs for sale, they will lower your car about 5-10 mm. Message me if your interested.

Although I bet it handles just fione already doesn't it?

No, £500 i think.

You arent missing a great deal.
I'm pretty sure the cup suspension pack was an extra £200 and the cup spoiler pack was an extra £150, then on the last of the 182's the price of the cup packs had gone up slightly.

all comments taken on board, think ill have a think about it. just i had ago against a 172 cup and although ye i wasn that far behind his car on the bends it was just so much flatter around corners. but then again it is alot lighter, im very confused as to what to do. as to them not liking me moddin my car were only a small company and we use my car as a promotional car taking clients out round tracks in it. so he has bought me all the stuff so far such as a bmc cda and ecu remap and blue flame exhaust.

cheers guys for all your comments
