Re-furbed the Type R wheels

Treated myself to a wheel re-furb as I wanted to change the colour. Dropped it off yesterday at the Wheel Specialist in Fareham and picked it up last night. Now the cleaning begins. One day of use and they are already dirty.

I have used that wheel specialist, they do a good job.

Looks nice, but would be to much of a pain in the arse to keep clean for me.

I personally love the look of white wheels but after owning a set, never again! Absolute nightmare to keep clean! If your anal about the looks of your car like I was you will be cleaning them at least once a day lol.

+1 to this, spent a few hours prepping mine, and ran out of time to do the rears (did them a month or so later), the difference in cleaning time was insane, and they always had a much better look after being cleaned too. Can't recommend this stuff enough!

I agree. I had a quote to refurb my 2118's it was over £300!

I ended up paying £120 for mine. A bit of a dodgy place, finish is very good but shade of silver is slightly dark but I can't moan at that price.

I got a deal at trade price through my son and got a nice discount as they had double booked and I had to go back two weeks after my first appointment. They media blasted them, fixed the kerbed wheels and powder coated them. They also painted the centre caps and put on the Honda stickers I gave them. All done in a day and they did a great job.

Looks superb, but as TEG/Scrooge says, get some sealant on there ASAP, it'll make life SO much easier.

Not a massive fan of white wheels but as said get some decent protection on them to save them going yellow.
