Nope, we don't need it and will make zero difference to us.

Just means they can run it on another network and not have to deal with AT&T.

CDMA version may have it's antenna position changed so might be relevant.

CDMA (CDMA2000 or CdmaOne) is the Other mobile standard in the USA (And a few other random places http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_CDMA2000_networks)

Its not compatible with our GSM/UMTS networks.

IMO its highly unlikely we will see a "CDMA" iPhone due to LTE.
