an exhaust i have is scuffed so i have bought some heat resistant chrome spray paint, i am going to sand it down then give it a few coats, will this work ok?

re-spraying chrome exhaust

im guessing its stainless steel? if so wire wool then metal polish and elbow grease(brasso sort of stuff etc)

no its a chromed exhaust pipe for my motorbike which has been badly scraped so re-spraying is the only option.

get it re chromed. that way it will stay on.
