As the title suggests I require information regarding the securing of the rear arch liner as mine decided it doesn’t which to be part of the car anymore.

I’ve had a stab around the rusty mound where it secures but I thought they were all done with plastic push fits. Any information would greatly be appreciated.

Drill out the stud and fit a rivnut. Make sure you use some silicone on the inside so it doesnt leak. Then use a bolt through with a big washer 👍

@frayz When you did these do you happen to remember if there was a nut there already or if you fitted rivnuts to attach the liner? From the pictures it looks like there is a nut already in situ to be used.

Its a captive stud and nut as per OEM. The stud sheared off like yours has. Drill what’s left of the stud out and fit a riv nut, and then add an M6 bolt mate.
