Rear Arch Rust - what to do - advice plz

  Atlantis Blue 1.2 Corsa B
got some rust on the rear arches and on the bottom of the passenger door. it doesnt seem to be growing, and in most places its just bubbled the paint. iv asked for some money for xmas to sort this out, whats the most cost effective way of getting rid, essentially making the car look ok. im not bothered aobut a long term cure, as i wont have it forever. i just dont want it to look stupid.....

cheers.

Ive got the same problem mate, u need to get a wire brush and some grey primer, take the rust off before it spreads, the primer will stop further rusting for a while, and get it into the body shop.

ya, thought as much, was going to get gtt arches,m was told they would go straight on now bin told otherwise lol

If it's surface, you can sand blast it off etc..

If it's coming from inside the arch (normally is), you need to cut the arch out and weld a new piece in to do it properly.
