Standard ones are really all there is AFAIK. Do you do trackdays as they will eat them?

Also do you have the washer that goes on the stub axle before the disc is put on?

AFAIK is as far as I know :)

oh don't know that last one, took it apart but didnt look for a washer. are you on about a proper old skool washer or a lil silly collar type one?
should there be a washer on outer edge of the bearing too, before the nut goes on?

cheers

Just a washer before the disc goes on , its kind of like a collar washer I suppose

Re: rear bearings, ph1-172. yet another problem

ok new update,

i've tried fitting the new disc's n bearings one side went fine, but there wasn't a washer. there is a nugget(band) or metal on the stub axle. but not a removable washer. anyone know the size. renault didn't know what i was on about :(.

and on the otherside(drivers)again no washer but more importantly the stub axle seems too big for the bearing, the disc off pasenger side doesnt fit either so its not like i've been supplied with wrong bearings.
getting the old bearing off was a nightmare had a 10tonne puller on it bending the disc!! and it was only just coming off.

does anyone know if all mk2 clios have same stub axles? theres a 1.2 in a local scrapyard and can't really afford a new oem one after crimbo shopping.

cheers

They look like this mate. If you forget to put them on, chances are the bearing won't work and you might have damaged the ABS sensor :(
