Rear brake disc advice!

  Weeman sucks ****

After around 6-7000 miles my Cup went into renault for a small part to be fixed. I also asked them to check the brakes because they were sqeeking.

I got the car back and they said a stone had rotated through half of the brake pad and got stuck, resulting in a ring that appeared on the disc. They said itll be fine and removed the stone.

It has been fine and no more squeeking but the ring is still there and obviously has rusted. Would new pads wipe this off or could they cause further problems?

Comments welcomem cheers, and heres a pic.

Depends how deeply scored the disc is. Your pad will wear into that score eventully and as the disc wears will gradually disappear.

Not that this will matter to you but i cant see this going through an MOT though.
