Rear brakes on Trophy.

  Twin Scroll Impreza STI
Will be looking to change the rear brakes on the car within the next week or 2.

I was on EBC's web site and there seem to be 2 different sets of basic disc's and 2 versions of uprated disc's. I'm just looking to buy standard stuff but don't know which is the correct ones.?

Also, they have a notice under each disc saying "NO ABS RING" or "WHEEL BEARING" included.? That seems to suggest that a new ABS ring and wheel bearing is required when replacing the discs for the rear end.

Can someone enlighten me.

(I have only owned the car a few days so i'm a newibe with it)

as said stock are fine.

Wheel bearings are pushed into the diska nd the abs ring is help into the inside of the disk for the abs to work cup 172's don't have the ABS so don't need the rings.

Personaly always get new bearings fitted into the new disks.you can reuse your abs rings though but there loads of places ie GDI yozzasport sell whole complete kits for a good rpcie realy for the hastle all ready to fit.

The 2 types they sell are just fancy drilled and vemted and somehting else disks there no need.

Rears don't get hardly used even on track.

Get the Yozzasport kit for £190 for the front ;)

Thanks lads but i'm ok to get the wheel bearings pressed in and 190 quid is well.... NO COMMENT.

I'll let you know how much it costs me once its done. I'll be doing all the work myself.

Thanks
